Random Rumblings
Went to a Mexican restaurant near Lankwai/Soho on Monday night. I haven't had Mexican in ages... since we had an English day for All the Pretty Horses, and before that, in Guilin. The fajitas were so-so, the "banada" milkshake was good ; ) no picts sadly, mom took camera to singapore. We found a really pretty ethnic shop on a corner with scarves, rings, incense, the whole lot of things. Also found a russian bar, indian shop with a "gay" guy- well, that's debatable- and found an accordian player! Altogether, pretty interesting night.
Tuesday night, learned how to play golf from 9 year old champion (well, fourth place?) golf player on mini golf course, ala the type you see in the business people's offices.
Debate club next monday- debating same sex marriage! Mr. Widdifield is irritated already ; ) As I'm all for gay marriage, I'll be forced to take a more defensive side. SIGH.
1. mature adults- can get married to whoever you want to
2. who's to say its not natural
3. no harm to either party
4. slippery road- same argument as used for different races getting married
hmmmm. more ideas?
